Implementations
The standard is the subject of pilot implementations in France. The association EdiBuild France has produced software allowing companies to read the quantitative description and unit prices of a Tender, to finalise the price of the offer and return to the originator in an electronic submission according to the EdiBuild standard format. Several software companies have adapted their software to produce and read files in standard format. This allows financial comparison of bids received with "one-click". These operations were initiated under the project TP 2010, funded by the Ministry of Economy, Industry and Employment. The project led by the association EdiBuild France in partnership with the Federation Nationale des Travaux Publics allows companies in TP to free submission software.
